A Day in the Life of a Furry Fashionista

Some of you may know that I’m a doggie diva, some of you may not.  But I’m sure you are all dying to know all my secrets.  Here’s a glimpse into the mysterious world of a true furry fashionista……

8:00am -  I get up (grudgling, I might add).  My fur-mom has to force me out of my snuggle sack.  It so cozy in there that I just don’t want to get up.  It’s made of luxurious faux fur and hugs me just perfect.   After finally forcing myself out of bed, I then go to do my business.  It’s easy because I just go to the door and ring my Poochie Bells and my fur-mom takes me out.  What are Poochie Bells, you ask?  They are these bells you can hang on the door and just train your pooch to ring them when he needs to go outside. It’s a technique used by professional dog trainers for years, proven effective and gives your dog the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with you without whining, barking, waiting or scratching at the door.  They are too stylish in a wide variety of trendy and unique prints.  Poochie Bells are a definite must-have for every dog! 
9:00am -  I eat my gourmet breakfast and boy, is it tasty!  My fur-mom feeds me ORIJEN dog food.  High-protein and low-carbohydrate, ORIJEN's grain-free formula replicates the same rich balance of meats, fruits, vegetables and grasses that dogs would encounter in a wilderness setting. 9:30am – I go to pick out my outfit for the day.  Now being a true furry fashionista requires an extensive wardrobe, which I definitely do have.  Sometimes, I take so long choosing that my fur-mom goes ahead and makes the decision for me.  She’s got good taste though, so it’s okay. 

10:00am -  We arrive at my fur-mom’s pet boutique.  It’s called the Haute Hound (Named after me of course, since I am the original haute hound).  I help her clean, put out the newly delivered items, and open the doors for business.  I then proceed to my duties.  I am the official door greeter, taste-tester, and fashion model.  I will also give out free kisses toany and  all that want them (and even a few to those you aren’t too sure).   I have mastered the art of the cuddle as well.  Feel free to cuddle me on your visit to the store.

12:00pm -  I take a nap in between customers in my undercover pet bed which in lined in soft faux fur.  It’s the ulti-mutt is pampered pet beds.  Nobody even knows I’m in there when I snuggle up inside of it.  My sister’s usually snuggle up with me too.  I’ve had to learn to share…..

2:00pm -  I have a snack of Grandma’s Lucy’s meatballs.  They are all-natural freeze-dried treats containing no preservatives, artificial flavors, or by-products.   Cheeseburger is my favorite flavor, though Turkey Pot Pie runs a close second.  Delish! 

3:00pm -  I play with some of my toys.  My current favorite being my Drooly & Bark purse toy.  It’s got the best squeaky and I love to carry it around by the handle.  I also like my Dr. Noys toys that are specially made just for toy breeds and fit perfectly in my mouth.  They even come with an extra squeaker for when the original squeaker expires.  I'm a little ruff on the squeakers!

5:00pm -  I take ANOTHER nap.  You seemed surprised?!!  A true furry fashionista needs her beauty sleep, after all!

6:00pm -  Quitting time!   I head on home where I have dinner, watch a little Animal Planet, and go to bed.  Now you know all my secrets.  I sure do a lead a ruff, ruff life!
